Your journal stays on your device.

CBT Thought Diary is designed so the journal entries you create are retained locally on your device and are not collected by the developer.

Overview

CBT Thought Diary is provided by Aly Bairamov as a freemium app. The service is provided for use as available. By using the app, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

In this policy, “app,” “service,” and “CBT Thought Diary” refer to the CBT Thought Diary application. “Developer” refers to Aly Bairamov.

Information and local storage

Information you enter into your thought records—including situations, thoughts, feelings, behaviors, cognitive distortions, challenges, and alternative thoughts—is stored on your device. The developer does not receive or store this journal content.

You are responsible for controlling access to your device and for any backups or exports you choose to create or share.

Diagnostic information

If the app experiences an error, third-party products used by the app may process diagnostic information, sometimes called log data. Depending on the service, this may include your device’s IP address, device model, operating-system version, app configuration, the date and time of the error, and related technical statistics.

Cookies and similar technologies

The app does not explicitly use browser cookies. Third-party code or libraries may use cookies or similar technologies where needed to operate or improve their services.

Service providers

The developer may use third-party companies or individuals to help operate the service, perform service-related work, or understand technical performance. These providers may access information only when necessary to perform their assigned tasks and are expected not to disclose or use it for another purpose.

Security and external links

Commercially reasonable measures are used to protect information associated with the service. However, no method of electronic storage or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

The app may contain links to third-party websites or services. Those services are not operated by the developer, and their own privacy policies apply when you use them.

Children’s privacy

The developer does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. Children should not submit personal information through the app or service without permission from a parent or legal guardian.

You must be at least 16 years old to consent to the processing of personal information where required by your country’s law. In some countries, a parent or guardian may provide consent on your behalf. Please contact the developer if you believe a child has provided personal information through the service.

Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page with a revised “last updated” date. You should review this page periodically.
